Sator Labs is founded by Dr. Luca Belli, a recent UC Berkeley Tech Policy Fellow and a NIST AI Fellow who worked on Generative AI,  Red Teaming and AI Standards. Previously, Luca was co-founder and Research Lead for Twitter's Machine Learning Ethics, Transparency and Accountability (META) team, where his publications included “Algorithmic Amplification of Politics on Twitter.” He also collaborates with the European Commission as part of a small expert group for the production of delegated acts for Digital Service Act. He has spoken at Carnegie Mellon University, the Berkeley AI Law Institute, and the ACM Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, among other venues.
